Barsan Global Logistics (BGL) has made 150 million Euros investment in the last 4 years and has partnership acquiring by 50% of the EMEX group of Hungary for to grow in Central and Eastern European markets. BGL targets to be a well known Turkish company in 13 countries located in Central and Eastern Europe.
Barsan Global Logistics (BGL) is the only group who offers integrated services in all logistics branches including customs transactions, international road-sea-air-railroad transport, customs and non customs warehousing, stock management and distribution services; and this acquisition is an important step to strengthen its global position.
BGL has partnership acquiring by 50% of the EMEX group of Hungary for to be more effective in Central and Eastern European markets. This acquisition transfers the half shares of Transemex Kft.-Budapest-HUNGARY and Transemeks Uluslararası Nakliyat ve Dış Ticaret Ltd. İstanbul companies to BGL. BGL explained the aim of this partnership as “expanding the client portfolio” and “to be a well known strong organisation in Central and Eastern Europe”.
The turnover target of Transemex for 2009 is 25 million Euros
This acquisition, which is an important step of inorganic growth of BGL, means that BGL will be active in 13 countries as Transemex headquartered in Budapest. The operations started in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland since the month January. After the newly started operations of Transemex in Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania now comes the time for Ukraine, Serbia and Romania. Transemex provides services with its 75 trailers all capital stock and 98 personnel on 17 thousand m2 customs area of which 6 thousand m2 indoors. The total investment value of Transemex is 15 million Euros and it foresees a turnover of 25 million Euros for 2009.
